Arrester Knock Out, the accessory of surge arrester, disengages the grounded junction automatically by Power frequency short circuit current when arrester malfunctions. Then arrester Stop running to prevent accidents further expanding and shows visible off indication, which is helpful for technician to detect the fault point, maintain and replace. Arrester in normal working condition, the detachment does not work and showed low impedance (arrester compared), does not affect the state of the system of the original work and protective characteristics of the arrester to ensure continuous power supply, the arrester really achieve the requirements of the "maintenance-free" use
